Modifying Theme Framework: Genesis Custom Header and Navigation
Modifying Framework for Genesis Custom Headers
I’ve spent a lot of time trying to find a good solution for creating a Genesis custom header section for Genesis themes. So now that I’ve found a solution, I figured I need to make note of it to make sure that when I need to reference it again in the future I’ve got it somewhere handy.
Here is the problem in short: I simply needed to remodel the header section so I could include the logo and title along with the main navigation, and have it printed out into the same HTML region for design purposes. Here is what I came up with.
Thanks to Brad over at WPSites.net and the good people at Studiopress for help in getting to this solution.
If you’ve got a better, cleaner way to do this, I’d love to see it, so please let me know below.
